Here is the original square by Alexandra. Mine is pictured below.

MY NOTES
I enjoyed making this square so much. It reminded me of working on our 2022 CAL Blanket with all the different stitches. One thing to note is Alexandra named the stitch patterns in the square differently than their “given names”. For example, she has named the granny stitch, grace tinley. Don’t let that throw you off, if you are searching for video tutorials for these stitches. I do see that she has a video tutorial coming out for the square soon.
Sizing: Since this square is worked in rows, the gauge is important. The width on my square was right on until I got to the section with the post stitches and bobbles. Then it got a little wider.
I confess I did not check how my height was doing, figuring that I could add or remove rows if needed, which I did. I added 1 extra row of Suzette stitches.
It was then measuring 12 inches wide x 10.75 inches tall. I did one border round and then blocked it to 12 x 12 inches. By pulling the height up to meet 12 inches, it brought the sides back to 12 inches.
Here’s What I did: I will outline my color changes and any notes I have for each row below.
Remember though, you are working on YOUR blanket. If you don’t want to change color where I did, then please don’t. My notes and color changes below are not hard and fast rules.
Rows 1-4: Cafe Latte.
Row 5-11: Tea Leaves
Row 12-15: Buff
Row 16-20: Cafe Latte
Row 21-27: Real Teal
Row 28-32: Buff. I did add 1 more row to this section for a grand total of 33 rows. You may or may not need to do this depending on the size or your square. See my notes under sizing in the section above.
Border Round 1: Tea Leaves

As a reminder, these patterns are not mine. If you would like the purchase the PDF, most designers have them available in their shops. Also, is up to the designer to decide if she wants to publish a video or photo tutorial for the specific pattern. It is illegal for me to make a video of someone else’s pattern.
