This quick to stitch football ear warmer crochet pattern is the perfect accessory to show your team spirit. There are 2 sides to this twisted ear warmer, one side looks like a football and the other is made using your team’s colors.
Make this using your high school, college or favorite NFL team colors. I made one in green and white for Michigan State University.
These twisted ear warmers would make great gifts to crochet for any sports fan on your list. You could even skip the football side and crochet the whole things in stripes of your team colors.

Finishing
After final row, weave in ends and decide which side will be the front. Continue to sewing instructions. After it’s sewn together use surface crochet or embroidery to add lacing to the football side of the ear warmer.
Instructions for sewing the Twist can be found here (scroll to bottom of page)
If you want to skip the twist, slip stitch the two short ends together and wear with the seam in the back.

If I can ask, please, did you create or purchase the insert (female face) used to display the ear warmer? Is there a download you can recommend or that you have available please? I think it would be great to include for gifting! Thank you!
Yes! I purchased it from a shop on Etsy and just printed it on cardstock. Here is the link: https://tidd.ly/3BrO7i0
