Messy bun beanies are all the rage right now but what is a girl to do if her hair isn’t long enough for a messy bun? You crochet a wide earwarmer, tha’ts what.Keep your ears cozy and your hair neat.

I used a new stitch for this project. Its called the “mixed cluster “. I love the texture of it. You start this stitch in the same stitch you finished the previous cluster. I know it sounds a little intimidating but once you get the hang of it you’ll fly through this project.

Hi after completing round 3 how many sc should you have? Worked this pattern twice and after round 2 I am coming up with 54? Should it be 58 after the mixed cluster?

  2. vivian Walmsley says:

Is there any way to avoid the tangle joining together . I know of a way if you didnt have to sc before you join with the slip stitch I am having a horrid time , keeps twisting

  4. Belinda Williams says:

So could you keep going up with this pattern and make it a pony tail beanie? Is it worked bottom up or top to bottom? Thanks.

  5. Barb Wagenfuhr says:

If I would like to make this headband a bit bigger, what is the stitch count repeat? I would like to figure out how many foundation stitches I need to begin the headband. Thank you so much!
