Pattern Notes
Another week another awesome square pattern! The post stitches in this square do it for me. I’m a sucker for anything with texture. This square would look great in stripes like shown, solid color, or even wider color blocks.
Sizing: Amy used the exact yarn and hook I am using for this CAL. I ended up switching the final round of double crochets to single crochets. This made my square around 11.5 inches which left enough wiggle room for blocking. I pinned it out to 12 inches and steamed it lightly to set the stitches.
This square is easy to modify if your sizing is off. Just do less rounds or add more.
Here’s what I did:
I’ll outline my color changes below. The only thing I changed in the patterns was switching the double crochets in round 15 to single crochets. This was just my preference as I am attempting to end each square with a round of single crochets.
I used my 5mm Furls Streamline Swirl Hook (my new favorite!) and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn.
