It’s time for part 7 of our Winter Waves Throw Blanket Crochet Along! I’m really excited about how this quilt inspired crochet throw blanket is turning out. You can find all the information and materials here.

Block Layout and Count

Winter Waves Quilt Inspired Throw Blanket CAL Part 7 | The Unraveled MItten

Part 7 is our last square panel. Yay for no more sewing after this week! Once you complete this panel you should have 4 all together. This panel uses the same half square triangle squares you learned for the other panels. Each block will again be a combination of your main neutral and one of our 4 coordinating colors.

Blocking your square is optional but I find it helpful.

Here is this week’s layout

This week’s layout is an arrow design that goes in the opposite direction of the herringbone panel (part 3). 

White = main color

Purple- coordinating colors

Winter Waves Throw Part 7 Diagram

Whipstitch your squares together using your main neutral color. You can find a tutorial here.

After you sew them together, move on to the border

Panel Border

Using MC and 6mm hook. Join yarn in any corner, sc evenly around placing 3 sc in each corner ch-2. Join to top of 1st sc with sl st. Finish off and weave in ends.
