This quilt square-inspired poinsettia wall hanging crochet pattern is the perfect Christmas accessory to spice up your holiday home decor.
One of my favorite things about crocheting is being able to add new seasonal decor items to my home throughout the year. I have been working on these seasonal quilt-inspired wall hangings for a few years now and I am so excited to add another one to the mix.

Tips for Crocheting a Granny Square Wall Hanging
I like to use cotton yarn for my wall hangings but feel free to use any worsted weight yarn you enjoy working with.
This wall hanging is made up of 3 types of granny squares. There are 4 single color squares, 4 half square triangles, and 4 three patch quarter squares. These clever squares are made just by changing color at the right spots in the square.
After you make and join your squares, you’ll need to attach it to a dowel. I found a pack of them at my local Walmart. They are 3/8″ thick and 12″ long. You can find some similar ones here.
