This crochet slouchy hat is worked in rounds from the bottom up. I was inspired to make this hat while I was putting together the tutorial for the Quick Shell Stitch a couple weeks ago, you can find it here. The quick shell stitch is an easy stitch to learn. It is made by working rows of 3 double crochet shells over rows of chain stitches.
And, hey don’t these colors remind you of Neapolitan Ice Cream!!

Finishing
After round 27, finish off and cut your yarn leaving a long enough tail to sew top of hat closed. Turn hat inside out. Using your tapestry needle, thread your yarn in and out through the stitches around the top of the hat. Pull tight to cinch hat closed. Add a couple stitches to secure. Weave in ends. Wear hat and look awesome.
