Here is the original square made by Sarah. I love the effect that 2 colors give this square! Mine is pictured below; I still have a couple more rows to finish up but I wanted to include my progress so far.

Pattern Notes
I really enjoyed this stitch once I got the hang of it. I was glad to see Sarah made a video tutorial for you all. It gets a little bit tricky with the long double crochets because they are worked a couple rows down and in some cases into a stitch that already has a stitch in it.
Sizing: I had to modify the starting chain number just a little bit to get the right size. I first did it with the 45 chains and it put me right at 12 inches. I wanted to leave room for a single crochet border so I bumped my foundation chain down to 41. I also noticed a tiny lean to the right, but that will block out just fine.

Here’s what I did: I already told you about the foundation chain beyond that and color changes, I did the pattern as written.
I used my 5mm Furls Streamline Swirl Hook (my new favorite!) and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn.
I used silver grey for Color A and I kept that the same throughout the square. For Color B I alternated between my 3 other colors (fisherman, linen, taupe) doing 2 rows of each color like is stated in the pattern.
