This is block #10 of our 2021 Stash Busting Crochet Along. Can you believe we are half way done! The Turquiose Delight square was designed by Veronika from Blue Star Crochet. Isn’t it lovely?

Pattern Notes
I feel like I say this every time, but I really enjoyed this square. The pattern was written well and easy to follow. I love that the center looks like a sunshine. It was truly fun to make.
Sizing: Mine was right on at 12 inches after blocking. This is one that will need to be heavily blocked. Mine was mighty frilly once I was finished but once I pinned it out and steamed it, it layed flat.

Here’s what I did: I pretty much did this square as written. The only part I found a little tricky was round 5, but that’s because I didn’t read the rest of the round instructions. I also substituted the last round of double crochet for 2 rounds of single crochet to keep things cohesive with my other square. I am ending all my squares with a round of single crochet.
I used my 5mm Furls Streamline Swirl Hook (my new favorite!) and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn.
