This is block #18 of our 2021 Stash Busting Crochet Along. The Vanna Blanket square was designed by Raffaella from Raffamusa Designs and features a highly textured arrow design made using crochet post stitches.

I can’t believe we only have 2 squares left! This has been such a fun project.

Pattern Notes

When Raffaella first sent this pattern over to me I knew I was going to love making this square. It has so much amazing texture and uses post stitches this combination is my crochet happy place. It was a little challenging at first but once I understood how to make the stitch it was smooth sailing.

Sizing: I used my 5mm hook and ended up right on at the correct size. It will need some light blocking to smooth things out.

Here’s what I did: I followed this pattern exactly as written. I’ll list my color changes below.

I used my 5mm Furls Streamline Swirl Hook (my new favorite!) and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn.

Rnd 1-4: Linen

Rnd 5-6: Taupe

Rnd 7-10: Silver Grey

Rnd 11-13: Fisherman

Rnd 14: Taupe
