How to do Tunisian Crochet

If you’ve never done Tunisian crochet before I highly recommend checking out this blog post and video tutorial. It will take you through everything you need to know to get started, including tools needed, foundation row, Tunisian simple stitch, and how to bind off.

Tunisian crochet uses a long or corded crochet hook. Similar to knitting you’ll go across your row and pick up stitches (forward pass) and then on the return pass you’ll work those stitches off your hook until only 1 loop remains. Each row of Tunisian crochet consists of a forward pass and a return pass.
