MY NOTES

This mosaic crochet square uses mostly single crochet. Double crochets are worked into the front loops of stitches a couple of rows down to create this fun effect.

Sizing: As written, my square was turning out a little big, I had planned on omitting the final 2 rounds because of this.  Once I put it on my blocking mats, however, I realized I needed to do one more round.

Here’s What I did: I will outline my color changes and any notes I have for each row below.

Note the hook size Tonya used for this square was 5.5mm. I used the 5.5 mm for my square, but I think if I had done the 5mm I would have been able to squeeze in all the rounds. It’s up to you which hook you will use.

Rnd 1-2: Buff

Rnd 3-4: Tea Leaves

Rnd 5-6: Buff

Rnd 7-8: Real Teal

Rnd 9-10: Buff

Rnd 11-12: Tea Leaves

Rnd 13-14: Cafe Latte

Rnd 15-16: Real Teal

Rnd 17-18: Cafe Latte

Rnd 19-20: Tea Leaves – I used just single crochet for both rounds as I thought they would be my last ones.

Rnd 21: Cafe Latte – Final round of just single crochet

Rnd 22: I omitted this round.

Remember though, you are working on YOUR blanket. If you don’t want to change color where I did, then please don’t. My notes and color changes below are not hard and fast rules.

As a reminder, these patterns are not mine. If you would like the purchase the PDF, most designers have them available in their shops. Also, is up to the designer to decide if she wants to publish a video or photo tutorial for the specific pattern. It is illegal for me to make a video of someone else’s pattern.
