MY NOTES

Crochet colorwork is so fun! This was my first time using the bobble stitch in a graphed pattern. My best tip is to read the pattern carefully. Also, whatever color I was not using I crocheted over along the row until needed. Then picked it up on the final ‘Yo, pull through’ of the stitch previous and crocheted over the dropped color until it was needed again.

Sizing: After finishing the colorwork portion of this pattern it became clear that I wasn’t going to have room for the border included in the pattern. I opted to do 1 round of single crochet to finish the square.  My finished square is just about 12” x 12”

Here’s What I did: I will outline my color changes and any notes I have for each row below.

Remember though, you are working on YOUR blanket. If you don’t want to change color where I did, then please don’t. My notes and color changes below are not hard and fast rules.

I used the color Buff as Color B throughout the entire square. The colors listed below are the substitutes for Color A only in the pattern.

Row 1-7: ( Lines 1-3 on chart) Cafe Latte

Row 8-13: (Lines 4-6 on chart) Real Teal

Row 14-21: (Lines 7-10 on chart) Tea Leaves

Row 22-27: (Lines 11-13 on chart) Real Teal

Row 28-33: (Lines 14-16 on chart) Cafe Latte

Final Single crochet round: Cafe Latte

As a reminder, these patterns are not mine. If you would like the purchase the PDF, most designers have them available in their shops. Also, is up to the designer to decide if she wants to publish a video or photo tutorial for the specific pattern. It is illegal for me to make a video of someone else’s pattern.
