It is getting down to the wire, Christmas will be here in a few short days. Are you still looking for some last-minute handmade crochet Christmas gift ideas?
I got you covered. I put together this list of handmade gift ideas that are beautiful, practical, and most of all quick to crochet.
Handmade Christmas Gifts
This year I’ve made it a point to do more handmade gifts. I think there’s something extra special about taking the time to plan and make a gift for someone, whether it’s crocheted or not.
You could even add something crocheted to a purchased gift!
Crochet coasters with a new coffee mug.
A couple of dishcloths with some kitchen tools.
The options are endless.
Crochet Gifts for Everyone on Your List
My criteria for picking crochet patterns that were quick to make and great for gifts was that they had to use 1 skein of yarn or less. More specifically, about 200 yards of yarn or less.
One skein crochet patterns are usually fast to work up so you can get more done in a short period of time.
I also chose patterns that were not super complicated. I wanted you to be able to pick any of them and know that, most likely, you wouldn’t have to look up tutorials for complicated designs.
Don’t think for a minute though that these designs will be anything less than gorgeous because they are simple!
There’s beauty in simplicity.
My little trick for making simple crochet patterns look extra luxurious is to use a higher-quality yarn. Use some from your stash or take some time to head to your local yarn shop and pick up what you need.
